Dear Ken,We hope you got off to a flying start on the 10th (better than the 11th).I (Malene) just had a brilliant Frankfurt motor show, with Richard attending on one of the days (chatting away in the Valeo hospitality area….). I had a browse on the other Scooby potential rivals there and am even more convinced I made the right choice in My Scooby acquired just three weeks ago. Only problem so far is a funny metallic sound when changing gears and uneven running around 4000 rpm plus some funny reaction from a Speedster driver. My next mail will be a posting on the Scooby net to see if anyone has got suggestion for a diagnosis. It is due for service tomorrow anyway but it is a French dealer so I do not know the reliability I can expect.I am hoping to be in Japan for the Tokyo Motor Show next month so if your plans change let me know. I am there from 20-24 October. In any case, Richard and I are still planning to come to Sydney for New Year and have just booked our rooms in the Grace Hotel, city centre.Richard here. I have tested out Malene’s Scooby and even despite the problem she describes the Evo still has the edge in terms of steering and mid-range torque. The Evo seats are better too - made to keep you in place, whereas the Scooby’s look the part but are too soft. Oh, and she still goes round corners like she’s driving a Fiat!ttfnMalene & Richard
