Hi Ken,Just checking in. Glad to see that you are having a great time so far.I am trying to get some work in the pacific time zone (to avoid buying my own tickets, as they are pretty steep imho) around the time you are there. Obviously this is something of a lottery but we'll see how it goes. With any luck Anita will have made it back Stateside, and with even more luck, she will join me. Hope the San Fran thing is as much fun as last time we did it :o)I went to the absolutely cracking Austin City Limits festival (www.aclfestival.com) this weekend, as 80,000 people showed up at the bottom of my garden where it was taking place. REM headlined, and lived up to their awesome reputation, The String Cheese Incident sounds funny, but is another cool band. Saw Steve Winwood (thumbs up) and Beth Orton (wasn't in the mood for her, she must have been stoned or something -- she was nervous as hell and it showed).Anyway keep up the good work living the dream and see you in a couple of weeks with any luck :o)Al.PS Anita has the photos, but I'll email a couple of thumbnails (or bring a CD) if I can.
Please wait...
